perfectblendThe Perfect Blend has so many good things going for it, just like your perfect smoothie recipe. The recipes are easy to follow. The pictures are gorgeous. There is nutritional information given for each recipe. The book is broken into sections such as low-carb, weight loss and detox. There are excellent descriptions of each of these sections providing information in a sometimes humorous way. Calling shiitake mushrooms sumo wrestlers is one such example.

The author has a blog which she references frequently. A lot of her feedback about the recipes in the book came from that blog. It is a good way to know what works and what doesn’t. It makes them (the recipes) almost “tried and true.”

I would recommend this book.
